Puff pastry palms

Ingredients:

  • Fresh puff pastry dough (1 rectangular plate)
  • Sugar

Preparation of the puff pastry palmeritas recipe:

Spread sugar on a smooth surface and spread the pastry dough Sprinkle more sugar on top of the puff pastry and pass a roller Squeezing lightly, so that the sugar is incorporated into the dough.

Afterwards, bends both ends of the dough towards the center, sprinkle a little more sugar on top and roll again.

Fold the two ends back to the center and repeat the operation.

Make one final fold in half and cut the dough in portions of approximately 1 centimeter.

Place the palmeritas on the baking sheet, leaving enough space between them for them to grow. Bake bake the palmeritas in a preheated oven at 210ºC for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.

Tip:

In addition to sugar, you can sprinkle the puff pastry dough with a little cinnamon or vanilla sugar.

If you do not have a roller, you can use a clean, smooth glass bottle (without labels).
