Baked meatloaf recipe with cheese step by step

Dice the garlic and sauté it in a casserole with 3-4 tablespoons of oil. Peel the onion, dice it and add it. Peel the carrot, dice it and add it.

Clean the leek by removing the bottom, the top and the first 2 layers. Chop it into small cubes and add it. Fry the vegetables for 6-8 minutes. Wash the mushrooms, chop them finely and add them. Cook everything together for 3-4 minutes more. Season the meats (beef and pork) and add them to the casserole. Add the tomato sauce and cook them for 4-5 minutes.

Put plenty of water in the pot and season it. Add the potatoes, close the pot and cook them for 5 minutes from the moment they rise to the valve. Cool them, peel them and pass them through the potato masher. Pour the milk, season and mix well.

Continue with the preparation of this cheesecake by putting half of the mashed potatoes in an ovenproof dish: spread the meat (with vegetables) on top and cover it with the rest of the mashed potatoes. Spread the cheese slices on top and grill the cake until the cheese melts and browns a little.

Divide the meat and cheese pie into 6 portions and serve. Garnish the plates with some parsley leaves. Our minced meat and cheese pie is now ready.

Tips for making cheesecake

The homemade meatloaf recipe is excellent for eating on the go and for taking to the office or college in a container because it reheats very well in the oven or microwave.

When mixing and incorporating the meat into the pan, it is important to brown it over high heat and chop it with a spatula so that it does not clump together.

Before serving the cake, it is advisable to let it cool for a few minutes, so that it settles and is easier to slice and remove.
