Ingredients (4 persons):
- 650 g mushrooms
- 1-2 spoonfuls of mustard (to taste)
- 1 lemon
- 8 slices of bread
- extra virgin olive oil
- salt
- 1 cayenne pepper
- 12 chive leaves
- parsley
Recipe of mushrooms in mustard sauce step by step
Wash the mushrooms in a large bowl with water, drain and dry them a little.
Heat 3 tablespoons of oil in a deep skillet or wok, add the cayenne and mushrooms, season and cook over medium-high heat for approximately 10-12 minutes.
Add the mustard and a little lemon zest, mix well and sauté the mushrooms for a couple of minutes. Finely chop the chive leaves and sprinkle them.
Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan. Cut 8 slices of bread, place them (in batches) in the pan and fry them on both sides. Remove and drain them on a plate covered with absorbent kitchen paper.
Divide the mustard mushrooms among 4 plates, serve with 2 slices of bread and garnish with a few parsley leaves.
